The job requires billers to resolve any billing complaints. Billers submit billing claims and follow up with insurance companies to resolve any discrepancies on previous submissions. Billers must have an in depth knowledge of insurance claims processing procedures, Medicare and Medicaid rules, Social Security disability rules, patient privacy law and rights, as well as familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding and medical web portals.
Duties and Responsibilities
